Meeke Mutter is an artist originally from The Netherlands. She discovered a new way of capturing dance and movement while working with a fast fluid calligraphic brushstroke. She calls her art “Dance Calligraphy”. Her work is colorful, moving and full of energy. All her work is original. When she paints she feels like a vessel, giving through what she receives from the universe. Meeke also paints abstract works.
Using the designs of her art she created also a beautiful and artsy new look of pointe shoes by making premium pointe shoe stickers, called The Pointe Elegantia’s®: to apply and remove on the shoes in an easy way to enhance the elegance of dancers on stage.
Meeke likes to change the world of dance and hopes she can give beauty, strength and good vibrations to people through her art.
She dances herself and studied ballet and voice for 8 years at the prestigious Ballet Arts in NYC at age 38 to follow her heart after giving up her career as communication consultant in The Hague.
Her motto’s: everything happens to you when you are ready, and: it is rare to meet a strong and truly compassionate person with an easy past.
